Sharing a unique perspective on "the Next Medicine"

I've been a physician for 30 years with most of my career spent managing challenging patients in busy hospital settings. For most of the past 20 years, I've been a clinical leader, helping coordinate a hospital Emergency Department, and more recently, a high-acuity Wound Care system spanning eight US states and the District of Columbia.

Over the years, I have become convinced that there is great deal wrong with modern healthcare. It is clear that we as a profession are not focused on finding and sharing real solutions; instead, we are monetizing disease. Some of us want to change that, and this blog is my contribution to that conversation.

My intention is to share information that in my view is not only evidence-based, but also practical, and capable of creating high-impact health benefits.
